Just depends on how you look at it.
Gaines has
one injury but has measurables that are on par with Trae Waynes, the guy taken 11th overall last year, and better rookie tape than Waynes had. You can't predict injury and the pick looked pretty great until the guys knee gave out. If he comes back at the level he was, he'll still be a damn good use of a 3rd rounder.
If Murray is a credible backup QB, he's a $2-3 million/yr cap savings and if that's all you ever get out of a 5th rounder, you're doing well. Fulton has warts, but he's also a guy that's shown that he can probably start on the interior line for 1/2 the teams in the league - huge win for a 6th round pick. And LDT is another guy who stepped in big time for us in a playoff run - if the guy dies
tomorrow he'll have been a successful 6th rounder.
If 2014 is the worst draft on your resume, you're having a pretty damn good go of things.
