It's like seeing your daughter when you are having sex with your wife, it doesn't happen.
You see the girl that is before you, I suppose. The girl is either bangable or not and you either oppose doing it with underage or you don't. I don't see how not wanting any other guy to be on your daughter or seeing your daughter grow as a person affects it. Anyone who is not my daughter, is not my daughter, so I don't put them in her position. Now, knowing children's psychology, etc. can affect things, but the love of your daughter only stops you from banging your daughter. Other moral feelings like age-wise or cheating is what would change your response to an underage trying to have sex with you. And if 17, I think it would be the same as 18, unless, I suppose, it were in the context of a school setting and that was your thing.
Having said that, I've never done that or been tempted by anyone that age with me (meaning them come onto me). I have no game and am married with kids.

I guess? It's a cultural norm, ultimately. Biologically, there's a reason reason why men are fertile their entire lives. Isn't it curious that girls typically begin puberty before boys the same age. From an evolutionary standpoint, an older more established male equals security, protection, and a greater chance to provide for her and her offspring. On the opposite side, youth is hardwired in the male human brain as a sign of virility, and the fertility to be able to successfully bare children, which even just 100 years ago child and mother mortality were extremely high.
There's simply a fine line between liking younger women and being a sexual deviant. Part of that determination is purely sociological, and scores of previous civilizations wouldn't frown upon such behavior - including the Romans, our historical starting point for what has become modern Western Civilization.
