It's not about 1 game. Or even a 5 game hot streak. How can people not understand this? It's about playing well
consistently. It's about his groundhog testicles that sometimes come out to play but sometimes run from their shadow.
The Chiefs could win the Superbowl this year and Smith could be completely pedestrian in the process. Smith could put the team on his back all the way to the Lombardi, and I would still want to see how he plays next year before calling him great.
Playing great sometimes doesn't mean he not mediocre.
