Maybe a few did in the early to mid 2000's when message boards were the top way to communicate online. Even then, computers and the modern internet were in the early stages and not as many people had them/access to them.
Pretty much all of them use twitter or facebook for that now. Message boards and forums like this are a dying breed. This shit is VCRs in the land of Netflix.

I'd bet none of them know who he is. His gifs(and there are hundreds of people, if not thousands who make gifs nowadays) are just a small part of the massive load of internet static that sloshes out after every game.
