POS with too much wear and tear.
I thought it was a Tarpon, so I jerked the shit out of it to set the hook and it snapped like a twig.
That Penn should be the last one I have to buy, for this purpose, for another decade.
I'd like to get a Penn Reel to go along with it and pair the Abu Garcia with something a tiny bit lighter for big bassin'.
I'm using a MED/LT Fleuger for bass right now, and while it is a beautiful weapon, it's just not stiff enough for my taste.
