Don't tune your car for another year or two. Wait until a few companies have gotten really good at it and then pick one of them. Let other people be the guinea pigs. If you end up doing an email tune, make sure they get you setup to data log etc. Also, generally speaking, if you're going to tune, you probably want to upgrade the air intake as well, which can also void your warranty if you don't reinstall the original one before going to the dealer.

If it were mine, and its not, I wouldn't do any performance mods until hundreds of others had worked out ALL of the kinks.

Be careful street racing brother. Cars with power like ours can get away from us easily, especially when it is still new to us. Even if you're in complete control, what if the other guy isn't? I don't want you or some innocent family to end up getting hurt. I'm really not trying to be a dick or to preach to you. I sort of know someone who got killed and hurt a family and it sticks in the back of my mind.
This.
I NEVER street race. I've had sand kicked in my face by all sorts of trash and always refrain, even though I know I'd win about 90% of the time. It's just NOT worth the risk. I totally trust my skills, it's the other guy I don't trust. Whenever you street race, there are times during any race where you're at the mercy of the least skilled driver and ANYTHING can happen. I usually just hand the guy my card and tell him to meet me at the track on Friday night. They rarely show, but are sorry if / when they do. I've paid for several sets of wheels & tires with my winnings.

All this talk about tunes, voiding warranty, exhaust sound etc. makes me laugh and takes me back about 6 years ago to when I first bought my car. My car was never a daily driver so I got the mod bug right away. Lucky for me there were TONS of "safe" options available. In fact, Ford has a deal where if you get them to install one of the street legal Ford Racing Kits, you keep your warranty. So, I immediately went with the Ford Racing / Whipple SC 750HP Kit that they put on the Super Snakes, thus I never knew what 500hp was like as I was at 750hp when I drove off the dealership lot. I hit the gas getting on the freeway and H-O-L-Y SHIT I was FLYING! Once you're at that power level, you know exactly why you don't street race...That was a long time ago and I've done more mods to the car, and I've still never totally gotten down on the car, on the street racing another car, though I am known to do some "spirited driving" from time to time.

Great time to own a modern muscle car! Have fun and stay SAFE!
