This finally did it for me on spincast reels, they have NO power at all... I have friday July 3rd off next week and am going to Scheels for a $60 plus open face reel with some actual horsepower.
Yea, fishing equipt is like most other stuff. you get what you pay for. Good luck, hopefully that hog will be waiting for you again.
