Edelman is GREAT, if you've got an ultra-efficient, ultra-accurate QB. There are like 4 guys in the NFL that can make good use of him, and if he were on any other team, he wouldn't be anything special.
Because of his amazingly quick feet, great hands, and ability to shake and bake, however, in the Patriots offense he's ridiculous.
LaFell is fine. A 2 or 3 WR. Nothing special.
But yes, Gronk is the key. He's seriously the greatest TE I've ever seen in my life. Not only great at pass catching, but an above-average, tenacious blocker. Best all-around package.
