1st of all, this is an excellent re-signing for the Chiefs, and it shows a flexibility and pragmatic approach by Dorsey that we have yet seen. The Chiefs could have stayed pat, let Bailey walk, and let DeVito come back.
Instead, they've actively re-signed Bailey and will now probably actively cut DeVito. Great work by Dorsey, and a very sensible contract.
2nd, I'd like to be a child for a moment and rub this in mcaj's face, who criticized me for saying that this deal that I projected for a couple months now was unreasonably cheap:
