30 years ago it might have been something like "meet me *here* at this time". Today it's all documented in text messages that are archived by cell phone carriers.
30 years ago there probably wasn't too much in the way of exchanging nudes. Today you can literally take a nude and send it within 30 seconds.
What I'm getting at is that it's much easier to get caught. 30 years ago a teacher could have been accused but then what? There's no proof. These days you just call up Verizon and you've got everything you need to convict.
