In 1981, my high school chemistry teacher married one of the Senior girls like 2 months after she graduated. It was pretty obvious that they were dating while she was still in school. I don't remember there being any kind of outcry and he kept teaching there. I doubt that happens today.
One of the health teachers was a roided up dude that the girls all swooned over. There were a lot of rumors that he banged students pretty frequently. Still no outcry. There definitely has been a societal shift in viewpoint there.
