I'm not convinced its medical nincompoop's running the show. I think its more likely they hide the severity of injuries for whatever reason.

I understand competitive advantage. If a team has to prepare in practice for Jamal Charles but he is not playing this week, just not announced.
Is it really an advantage to try to fake out a team that Waino is pitching but in reality you plan on pitching Lynn? They already have a plan to hit every pitcher on our staff. WTF is the motive?
