Also, for all the laudatory praise of the Cardinals organization, national media types have seriously overlooked several glaring weaknesses:
1) We have not had a solid bench bat in three years
2) Our manager is ****ing terrible at his job
3) The medical staff has been 19th century bad for at least twenty years
I fear that, with the ascendance and payroll flexibility of the Cubs and the Dodgers hiring a competent GM in Friedman, this might be the last night of the Cardinal dynasty.
