It's equally important, just as it is in the RS. It's magnified in the PS because managers won't leave ineffective pitchers in, which means that if you are down 2-0 and you get a few batters on, you can't rely on the manager having the pitcher go through several more innings. You get the best relievers every night. No opportunity to feast on the ass end of the bullpen and #5 starters.
