Hell, Hawaii even made a BCS bowl.
5-10 years from now after the college football playoff has been in place for a while, nobody will remember or care that a basketball school once upon a time, long ago in a galaxy far far away made a BCS bowl.
Your football program has been a national joke since that magical run, rather than your coach and university taking advantage of it and using it as a springboard to something bigger.
Way to shit the bed on that one. The University did itself proud there.
