The only downside I see to this is that if Kansas is fighting to get back into the Bowl picture, you don't schedule LSU as a Non-Con opponent. You schedule 3 patsies and pray for 3 B12 victories - those are hard enough to come by with your Program.

Maybe, you take a look at Vandy and Kentucky? Those are winnable games at times, albeit not very sexy for the fans - it's like playing Duke instead of Florida State
