Although, and I'll be shot for this... but if they are truly willing to eat Ryan Howard's monster contract like the reports claim, I'd be curious to see what it'd take to get him. He's not the guy he was 5 years ago but he still has 25 HR power, and he's a Missouri native. He seems like the type of veteran Billy Beane would buy low on and rejuvenate into a productive DH.
