Its going to be fun to watch this guy. Detractors complain he's weak against the run, but DT wasn't ever that great against the run either. As far as coverage goes, why would you have one of your best pass rushers going AWAY from the QB at the snap of the football?
Id much rather see Ford on the field with Hali and Houston rather than backing them up. Its a nice overload situation with one side of the line having to block both Ford and Hali/Houston whichever side he lines up on.
Id rather see DeVito come out on a passing down and have Ford, Poe, Walker on the line and Hali/Houston/Johnson/whoever playing behind that.
They have to find some way to get all of our top talent on the field, instead of just riding the bench.
