So my wife has some training in San Diego at the end of April and she's decided to extend her trip throughout the weekend so we can get a little vacation time there. I'm flying out Thursday afternoon on May 1st and we'll come home the following Monday.

We were looking for stuff to do there and I figured I'd check out the Padres schedule to see if they were home that weekend and we could check out a game at Petco. I bring up their schedule and what do I see?

The Royals start a 3 game series against them on Monday, May 5! So we're going to go ahead and come home Tuesday so we can watch the Royals vs. Padres in San Diego the night before.

I'm so pumped!
