i said that Hagemon was the closest the chiefs can find a JJ watt type player in this draft. The comparison is between Hagemon and Watt.
Poe ran very fast at his weight, and lifted alot during the bench press. No other player (including Hagemon or Watt) can compare. That is why the chiefs were willing to gamble and draft him in the top 15 from a small school (memphis).
Drafting Hagemon @ 23 is not much of a gamble. How would I define the amount of gamble? It would be a risk/reward ratio. The risk @23 is far less than @15. The "reward" or "upside" is high.
