Not exactly sure why, but this reminds me of the Fairbanks AK music scene somehow, just a wild conglomeration of disparate sounds... folk to punk and everything inbetween mixed in.
I said for years and years in the car biz, where we had Sirius radio for free in the showroom... that metal/punk owes a LOT to that highly emotional, fast style of bluegrass picking/howling, if not stylewise then atleast emotionally those guys approximate the blistering speed and emotion of metal... LOVE IT.
Sounds exactly like a good Fairbanks or thereabouts bar at 3am.
