But with the way that season worked out, it is less important than winning the Orange Bowl, winning the Sugar Bowl, or beating Nebraska in 2003.
That 2003 win is the linchpin of the Pinkel era at Mizzou. I'd argue that without that win, nothing that we've seen Mizzou accomplish since comes to fruition.

I was at the 2003 Neb game, as well as the 07 KU game and the one we beat #1 Oklahoma. The Nebraska win was the cream of the crop for me.
