You're arguing tangential points and avoiding the concept f "deserving" something. Just because the rule screwed Mizzou, that has zero bearing on whether they or KU were deserving or not. And the Rose has no requirement to take a BIG team, it was simply their choice and they chose IL over Mizzou and Kansas. IL took a spot belonging to both Mizzou and Kansas, period.
