A friend of mine did SCA stuff when I lived in Sacramento. He made the mistake of showing me how to make a bopper, lol. He was built and looked just like the comic book guy from The Simpsons. Poor guy. I beat the crap out of him with that thing and he wouldn't play anymore. We went to a few of the events though. It was fun, kids had a blast.
