NFT: Projection television problem..

I took off the screen of my projection television, bought some cleaner made for cleaning big screens, and then proceeded to clean the mirror in the television and all the jets.

When I put everything back on, the picture was very clear in the center, but on the corners it was darker.

I thought I missed some spots, so I re-cleaned it again today.

Same result. I cleaned the guns inside it too.

Don't know what to do. The corners are semi-fuzzy. I know everything is cleaned correctly too. It's just annoying as hell to watch something and then have part of the screen be distorted.

Any big screen experts on here? How much would it cost me generally to have someone come out and look at it?

It's shot. Give it to me.

Probably needs to be repointed.

You could have knocked one of the mirrors or guns out of alignment. Maybe.

I would bet you you get someone to come out for a service call for around $75.

I doubt you screwed up anything permanently.

The mirror did look like it was over to far to the right, but I thought it was normal.

I'll have to re-adjust it tomorrow and see if that works.
