Final Mock

This is a “what I would do” Crow type mock, not what I think will happen. Come tear it down fellas!

Assumptions:
Walter Nolan and Derrick Harmon are both gone and we are not able to go up high enough to get them.
Josh Simmons is also gone and I don’t feel Conerly is BPA or good enough.

Mock
1. Luther Burden WR MU-Tackles will be gone. Most of the board will be bare. But I’d stay pat. I would help my QB. God knows he has needed it the last 2 years. Deep DL class will push the offensive talent down the board and we need to get back to striking fear into defenses.

2. Josh Farmer DT FSU-May have to trade up a few spots to cuck Buffalo again for this kid. I love him. 35 inch arms. 10+ inch hands. 26 on the bench. Extremely strong. You are not moving this kid. Explosive first step quickness and knows how to use his hands. Very versatile. Played from 0 to 7 tech at FSU. My favorite day 2 DT. Can see why the Chiefs appear to love him.

3. *Trade down 5-7 spots to pick up a 5th rd pick*
Jacob Parrish CB KSU-
one of my favorites. Elite athleticism. Versatile player who can play inside or out. Loves being physical in run defense. Veach hasn’t had 2 versatile corners since Sneed and it showed. Can do a lot more disguises/looks with 2. This is also potentially McDuffie insurance (not that I think he won’t be extended) as well as Fulton, who has never played a full season in his career.

3. Trevor Etienne RB Georgia-Brashard Smith is my favorite as well as Giddens but Etienne was next. Crow sold me on his blocking. Outstanding receiving back. Plus vision and is elusive. Get ahead of the run on RB’s which will likely start at the beginning of day 3.

4. Jared Ivey DE Ole Miss-he’s somehow falling rd 5 in Brugler’s mock and that range in Daniel Jeremiah’s final rankings. Great value here. Omenihu replacement who can be a role player early and take over in 2026. Versatile and underrated in this class.

5. Bryce Cabeldue OL KU-Size and technique is solid. We need more G depth.

7. *Trade a 7th to move up*Kitan Crawford S Nevada-size, speed, versatility. Great value pick here.

7.Adin Huntington DE Tulane-my favorite late rd gem for us. 6’1 280 lbs but had 30 bench reps, 4.64 40, 1.61 10 and a 7.48 3 cone. This is our next Turk Wharton project.

I haven't followed things as close as normal so I wont even try to grade anything late. I'd be happy with that 1-3. I know little to nothing about Parrish, but how could I not like the rest?

I could live with this. I've been hot on the OT train all offseason but this is something I could see happening easily.

Ivey fell like a rock the moment he ran like a 5.1 40.

Looks good. I have a hard time seeing the Chiefs taking Burden, but I absolutely would be ecstatic if they do. That would be fun.

Sticking to my prediction that if TreVeyon Henderson falls into the 2nd the Chiefs trade down their 1st for a later pick and a high 2nd. Makes too much sense.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Good luck ladies. :thumb:

I'm not as sold on Etienne as others are, but I wouldn't write a **** you Bart Felch post about it either.

Looks good overall.

Better weapons, better DL, and another DB to make the secondary better than last year.

Easy to enjoy that outcome. If Moore works at LT, the team is better than last year even if the record is a bit worse.

That's great work, and you sold me on Farmer over Deone Walker.
