Anyone check on Mosbonian and his rehab workout?

Bump 04-03-2025 06:07 PM

what the ****. Why wouldn't he just drop it?

or was this intentional for a video?

Rain Man 04-03-2025 06:09 PM

This is why I avoid deadlifting more than 450.

displacedinMN 04-03-2025 06:17 PM

Yes. Usually the pass-out is after the rep is done though. It's usually orthostatic hypotension from valsalva (holding your breath hard under load) causing vessels to contract), then releasing and breathing again causes a sudden drop in blood pressure. I get it all the time after DLs and squats, but I'm smart enough to know when to sit or lean on something when my vision starts to go black.

And he didn't just drop it because he's strapped on.

Unfortunately he probably did major damage to his knees.

Man dies after lifting half of Brooke Pryor.

Didn’t know the Tardian was a brotha

Rain Man 04-03-2025 06:59 PM

I suspect he misunderstood the goal of dead lifting.

That actually used to be my best lift. Such a fun lift, too.

I got to the 400+ squat, 500+ deadlift club but could never get past 290 in the bench.
