PROJECTED TRADE WITH BALTIMORE RAVENS

Kansas City is haunted by its inability to stop Philadelphia's front four in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs signed 49ers backup tackle Jaylon Moore to a two-year, $30 million free-agent deal, but they keep addressing the OL issue in this exercise. K.C. sends first- and third-round selections to Baltimore for this pick and a fourth-rounder, adding Booker to replace Joe Thuney up front.

Pick

Kansas City Chiefs
Oluwafemi Oladejo
UCLA · Edge · Senior

Pick
66
Kansas City Chiefs
(via TEN)
Darius Alexander
Toledo · DT · Senior

Pick

Kansas City Chiefs
Jalen Travis
Iowa State · OT · Senior

I like picking Tuten at 136.

This place would implode if we traded up to take a guard in the first though.

Reuter is on crack

Couch-Potato 03-22-2025 06:11 AM

I’m not against taking Booker and Travis is an interesting prospect I’ve not looked into until now.

kccrow 03-22-2025 07:46 AM

I'd be disgusted.

You really feel you need to take a guard in the 1st, fine, but don't ****ing trade up for him.
Then follow that up by taking a 5th round DE in the 2nd? **** me.
This is total shit.

You don't trade UP in the first for a guard.

This is dumb.

Have you not heard that we traded Joe Thuney to the Bears? WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO AT LEFT GUARD???!/

^ literally the thought process Chad Reuter employed for all of ten seconds before making that projection

Why take an Edge at #63? Haven't we resolved that situation somewhat by resigning Omenihu? Shouldn't we ratchet that position down a bit when we have other positions of real need?

Edge at 63 is fine if it’s BPA. That particular edge seems like a reach at 63 though.

If Edge is BPA at 63, I think we should look for a trading partner a few spots back that needs it. I like the idea of taking BPA, but it has to be tempered with what our needs are and trading back a few spots always helps to build draft capital that we can use to trade up if/when necessary

Mock was probably done before Omenihu re-signed.

I'd be fine with an edge in the 2nd round though, has more value past 2025

Yeah, with the contract McDuffie gets, we may well be trading Karlaftis.

It would be nice to have a replacement lined up.

You can never have too many pass rushers. Spags will find a way to get them on the field.
