All that said, what do we predict happens? What would make it a successful FA period in your mind from here following the signings of Bolton, Hollywood, and Trey?

Is there a way to trade Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith for a LT?

I don't really care who stands in the middle. Just find some fat people. They'll be fine enough. What are we gonna do run Barkley 40 times a game and do QB sneaks? No? Then who ****ing cares.

A puffy soft interior will sink the offense too.

Just because LT is the main prerequisite doesn’t mean we can have pockets caving in on Mahomes all the time.

Disregarding the obvious, maybe another vet DT since teams seem to be cleaning house on those.

Teams planning to find the next guy in this draft at that position.

Chiefs would be wise to shop for a ring chaser.

Of course this is assuming that Wharton is going bag chasing

Mahomes never had enough time (and FELT always rushed) and our offense was dogshit.

There are a lot of D linemen out there in free agency... I wonder what his market is going to be.

1) I’m paying a left tackle, and that LT will have warts. But I’m not going into the draft naked and I’d really prefer it be Robinson or Moore.

2) Need at least one and ideally two defensive linemen.

3) I’d be happy with another corner but also very content to wait for the draft there.

4) Gotta sign a running back before and maybe after the draft depending on if we get one there.

I’m with you that LT precedes everything else, including having an elite trio inside.

I think we can have it all this year though. Someone who can play better than Thuney did and not be totally abused by length, those guys are available. Not great, but good enough.

A second wave of free agency type signing would be to add a veteran left guard.

Entering another season, relying on Kinglsey without having an adequate back-up plan... even if at a different position... no thanks.

Could Nourzad be that guy?

LT Jaylon Moore (assuming he’s cheaper than Cam Robinson, which he may not be. Cam if the dollars are comparable)

I’d be fine with trading Trey Smith if the Chiefs get something for him. Dont love two expensive IOL guys, but also understand if they extend him. Just get something done here so it doesn’t hold up other deals.

Heavy DL draft. Also, grab a RB when it makes sense. One more pass catcher in the draft too. Maybe like Felton in the third?

At some point these young guys need to play.
