Yeah, I was amazed that one woman was both his wife and his dog.

He never killed a dog.

RIP. He retired from acted a long time ago. But he was one of the greats. So many great roles in 70s, 80s and 90s films.

I checked his IMDB, Welcome to Mooseport was his last movie, that was 20 years ago.

Yea. I figured it had been at least 20.

So many great roles. The French Connection, Hoosiers, Mississippi Burning, Unforgiven, Crimson Tide. Just to name a few……
