Super Bowl LIX attendants

Ok, so the wife and I are considering going to the Super Bowl in NOLA. Yes, tickets are going to be approx $18,000 but, we can pull this off. To us, this is a lifetime experience. Who on Chiefsplanet are planning to go to this game?:thumb:

I am taking my son-in-laws. It is a bucket list item to see the Chiefs play in the SB. I started looking at lodging and flights today. That will put a scare in you!

I wanted to go last year, but my wife backed out. I told her I was going the next time we made it no matter what. She is a HUGE Chiefs fans but would rather watch at home with family and friends.

I'm there if we make it.

Good Luck and enjoy, but that's a no for me dog... $18K is just "to ****ing High!"

May the football gods bless those of you who go. I'd rather take an epic vacation to Europe for that kind of money.

That’s exactly what we are doing for spring break. Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, etc.

Going to AFC champ games at home is more my thing. But I hope all who go enjoy it!

I’ve gotten tickets to all of them but Tampa (and food poisoning kept me from attending Arizona even though I had gotten tickets). So it’s crucial that I go lol.

BTW you can get great 50-yard line tickets for around $5K-6K if you don’t mind the top bowl. I love the perspective up higher so I don’t care. The trick is waiting until the Wednesday before the game and there is a bit of luck/timing because prices do start going up Thursday. But the worst time is right after the team makes it in when most fans jump on and buy their tickets.

My buddy and I went to the Miami one. To have gone and seen the Chiefs win a SB was probably the greatest day of my life. If you can go it’s worth it. I had the time of my life there. We did the Chiefs Planet meetup and BBQ party the night before. It was a blast.

I'm going.

Ok, let me be clear, That $18K is serious seats 10 rows up from the field and is 2 tickets. Seats are on the 1st tier on the 40 yard line. I mean premium seats for a SB. A once in a life time experience is what I am trying to sell the wife on but, we need to move fast on it. If need be, we can sell them for a huge profit.

it's a shame they don't give attendees physical tickets anymore. those were always beautifully designed and a true collector's item. i can understand moving away from paper tickets for regular games, but for an 18k SB ticket? that's sad.

Souvenir hard copy tickets of your seats are available - you just have to pay extra for them. What do you expect for $$$$$'s ? lol

If you are paying 18K for them you aren't going to be able to sell them for a HUGE profit. Any attempt to resell them will absolutely kill you in fees alone ...

I’m strongly considering going even if I don’t get game tickets. Chiefs, SB, NOLA. Helps yeah.
