Alarm clocks suck
 

New ones ALL have the increasing sound for radio wake up.
Hate it.

Does anyone know of an alarm clock that still has a volume control that is not digital?

found one with alarm volume control, 4 control dimmer, and you can set it for weekdays only!

I am surprised they even sell alarm clocks when everyone has phones. Phones do a better and more reliable job.

While you're right on the alarm function, I struggle to see how a phone doesn't work just as well for a timed alarm. However I need to be able to look over & see what time it is quickly without having to reach over & wake up my cell phone. Now obviously any clock would also work, but at that point I might as well get one with an alarm function.

I have an alarm clock in the bedroom that displays the time on the ceiling(or whichever way you point it). I don't use it for the alarm but I use it all the time to roll over and see what time it is without doing anything else than looking at the ceiling.

OP should get an Alarmo.

No really, haven’t had one since cell phones. On top of that I always wake up before iit alarms. It’s just my shit got real noise.

Does it display just hours and minutes, or does it have display the seconds as well? You know...like if your wife might want to time you.
