With Pacheco coming back soon how do we think he’ll be eased in?

Even if he’s good for this weekend do we see him taking on a lot of carries knowing we’re playing Carolina with a quick turnaround on a Friday game?

I see a lot of people thinking hunt will move to a small role but I don’t think they’re considering the short week.

I expect his first few games, we'll see him on a limited basis. We don't really need him for the next few weeks, and we need to make sure he's 110% come playoff time.

Having those fresh legs is going to be so amazing. I'm betting on Hunt going back to his role he had in Cleveland once the real bullets start flying. That would be a perfect balance, IMO.

If he's healthy then get him out there. I wouldn't load manage him at all. If he is good to go he's good to go.

He broke his leg. He doesn't need any additional "healing". Throw him out there and get him ready for the playoffs.

Split the touches with Hunt down the middle.

RunKC 11-20-2024 10:53 AM

Probably start him off slow like Andy always does. I’d guess this week is a warm up. Probably like 10 or so touches.

But goddamn does Kareem need that. You can tell Kareem is getting worn down getting 24 touches avg per game. Getting Kareem down to 10-12 avg per week is gonna help him so much.

Honestly wouldn’t mind getting Perine in there a bit to give Kareem more of a break down the stretch

Hopefully we get fully healthy across the board with no new injuries.

Mahomes

Pacheco
Hunt

Hopkins
Brown
Worthy
Smith-Schuster
Watson
Hardman

Kelce
Gray
Hendershot

That's an offense that can probably get you 25+ points reliably once it's the playoffs and we're not hiding plays anymore.

10 carries

Just in terms of potential points scored, we're already averaging 24. I'd hope we would see closer to 27+.

Exactly

It's a broken bone. There's not much "healing" needed now.

Hoping this is a super heavy Perine/Steele (or CEH?) week to let Hunt rest and Pacheco eased in.

Let the meat shields take the hits while the starter RBs get right for the home stretch.

Carolina’s defense is ranked low in both against the rush and pass.. We could use a committee and still hopefully come out on top…

*Disclaimer: I have him on my fantasy team.

There's no reason to limit his carries, he broke a bone. It's healed
