Arrowhead Crowd
It appears that capitalism has officially ruined the mystique of Arrowhead. Last night was by far one of the worst crowds I’ve ever seen at Arrowhead. I was told by Chiefs fans to sit down while we were on defense. So many people have treated their season ticket packages like they’re playing a ****ing stock market and the atmosphere is disappearing. The place should have been going absolutely insane last night from the banner ceremony. Instead we had whole sections sitting on defense and an entire crowd of Chiefs fans that left in droves with 2 minutes left with all 3 timeouts to use. The whole experience was just depressing. Hopefully it was just a bunch of Chiefs fans trying to recoup their money and overlooked a good Lions team, but something tells me this is just the way things are going to be now unfortunately.

Never, ever sit down on defense. **** anyone that says otherwise.

Those young whippersnappers....

I was a bit surprised at how many Lions fans were at the game. Lot of blue in the stands.

There were a couple times in the 2nd half that I thought it sounded pretty damn loud from my couch. People have been telling other people to sit down for years though.... I remember being told to sit down during a SNF game against John Kitna's Seahawks in ~2000-ish. |
I hope you told the dumbasses that were asking you to sit down while KC was on defense to go **** themselves.

muh capitalism

That's a shame.
Rodney Harrison said he didn't feel the energy @ Arrowhead. |

Hopefully they got in line all the way to Detroit. They only pay for their kids to participate in sports.

I do feel like Arrowhead has become a bucket list type of place the last few years and so we are seeing more visiting fans at games. Which sucks because it drives up ticket prices.

The crowd sounded loud as **** on TV, like it always does.
Maybe it did quiet down a little as the shit show went on, I guess you'd have to be there to know. |
