Lion's Forum: The Good, The Bad, and the Delusional

I miss going to other fans boards like OrangeMane.... But I wanted to see if I could start a tradition this year of highlighting entertaining forums from teams we are playing.

It’s week 1. Let their hopes and dreams run wild until we crush them and send their expectations hurtling back to Earth.

Pasta Little Brioni 09-04-2023 11:46 AM

That's tame compared to our resident Mule Toolers

Kiimo 09-04-2023 11:48 AM

Even the "delusional" was a joke though

ChiTown 09-04-2023 11:49 AM

I gotta be honest. I didn’t even know the Lions had any fans. Good to know…

I remember back in like 2011 or whatever I was buying the cassel hype, a true homer, and bet my boss 100 bucks on the opener against the falcons. Since then I’ve grown as a man and in my waistline, but I feel for these lost at sea franchisee.

1993 - was the last time they won their division and they should be reminded

Should be a competitive game.

I bet they win it this year. Seriously.

I still think KC wins.

My mom's side and all my cousins are from Michigan. This is how Lions "fandom" goes.

#1. College football above all else.

#2. Red Wings and college hockey are just as important as going to church each week.

#3 The Tigers, because baseball weather in Michigan is actually pretty nice.

#4 Because the Pistons have actually won some titles. 3 to be exact.

#5. The Lions

Living in Chicago for as long as I did, I completely agree with this list. They were the only Black & Blue divisional fan base that never invaded Chicago when they would play the Bears

They should be a fun team to watch lose in week 1. I wish them well the rest of the season

Lions have

Rain Man 09-04-2023 02:58 PM

Did their coach ever get the actual pet lion that he was wanting to walk on a leash? I'm a little concerned about our players being out on the field with a lion that's dragging around a moron.
