Optimism Toney could play week 1

As long as he's playing week 2 of the playoffs (we obviously got the bye, duh) there shouldn't be a problem.

Don't rush him

Exactly. We are now in the week to week, will he play BS that comes along with Toney. This is what was always going to happen. Its part of the deal. He's a brokedick game changer. You just have to put up with this part of having him on your team. Glad the Chiefs have other weapons. They need to in order for th "Toney Effect" to work out.

Really hate that it’s looking like we might limp into week 1 without Toney, Sneed and Chris Jones. Those guys are all huge pieces at premium positions.

Can he play in both week 1 and week 2?

Toney is a cherry on top. Not a focal piece.

If he's there playing on any given day, then terrific.

If he's not, then oh well. We've planned our team to move on in any absences he might have.

I didn't care for the "he's our #1 guy and a #1 WR" talk this offseason.

Not because of ability but shit, you gotta be there. Luckily, we look to have a really nice WR core.

That'sreally the best way to look at it. That's why when I heard all this talk in the off season about how the Chiefs were going to depend on him alot, I took it with a grain of salt. That thinking was tempered the very first punt return of training camp.

Yeah, pretty much see him as I saw Sammy Watkins, but without the massive salary.
