Favorite Hamburger Chain (Poll)

It is a diverse field.

Loads of options. You have the mighty chains of McDonald's and Burger King. Wendy's lurks. Hardee's and Carl Jr's are regional forces. Whataburger brings the heat. Jack in the Box is a dark horse. A&W is a classic. Five Guys has a market share. Roy Rogers continues to survive. White Castle and Krystal continue their Civil War set-up from the 1920s.

As always; vote and discuss!

RIP to the old classics: Burger Chef, Sandy's, Hot N Now, Red Barn. Etc.

Goldie's. No other options necessary.

Five Guys is in a different league than those other places.

Seconded

Where's Clint? There was a burger joint down in Wichita in the early 90's that maybe had the best burger and crinkle cut fries I had ever tasted to that point in my life. It was like In-n-Out, but not exactly the same name.

Five Guys.

Their fries are damned near as good as their burgers. IMHO, of course.

Culver's.

Yeah absolutely.

My wife was just telling me that she used to take Five Guys home all the time in her college years.

She’s a vegetarian though, so you know it’s damn good.

I'm a Culver's stan. Although I really really like what Freddy's does as well. Five Guys doesn't have a drive through so I'm not going there. Maybe been there three times and it's very solid but doesn't have the same number of tries as the first two.

Ah, Sonic - how far you have fallen. Ten years ago, Sonic might have run away with this poll.

Oh I still really like Sonic, and they are killing it with the app. Order, drive over, they walk it out. Beautiful. But the location close to me is the most hit or miss one I've been to and it's kinda soured me. And it's the one by Park Hill on Barry Rd so there's no excuse for it to be so awful, but that's the risk you run with franchises.

if I have to pick just one I'm picking Cook Out

So are their prices. Seems they are almost x2 the cost as In-and-Out.

They do make a great burger though.
