Earl Thomas back at it again

Earl Thomas accused of drunken confrontation after Christmas
The impetus of the request for a restraining order was reportedly an incident that occurred after the pair agreed to spend Christmas together at Nina’s parents’ house in Orange, Texas so he could see their children.

Nina reportedly claims that Earl “chose to stay out all night drinking” on Christmas Day, sent her “harassing text messages” and returned home the next day “visibly intoxicated.” She alleged that he said “suck my d---” in front of their daughter at the house, then followed her outside when she went to the car and screamed at her in the front yard.

At that point, Nina reportedly said she locked Earl out of the house, which led to an “irate” Earl allegedly punching through a window despite the arrival of his mother to attempt to calm him down.

Police reportedly then reached the house on a disturbance call and questioned Earl after he went to the hospital. He reportedly admitted to breaking the window, though the case is now considered inactive.

IIRC, most people were on Earl Thomas' side at that point. He had a contract extension ready and waiting, Seattle dragged their feet on the trade and he ended up with a broken leg.

I could be wrong.

Another guy with CTE?

Having a headcase would likely lead to some feet dragging when looking at sinking money into this guy. Seahawks look like geniuses now.

Yep. Even had a small handful here upset at Veach for not getting the trade done fast enough.

Except they traded a boatload of picks for his replacement, Adams.

Neither side looks good.

Seattle certainly came out of this ahead. Adams is a considerably better player. At the time, there were concerns that Thomas was starting to fall off.

The following year, the Chiefs offered a contract suitable for his current skill. Baltimore came out of nowhere, blew the Chief's offer away and over paid him. They cut him a year later and he still can't find work. Likely done and out of the league.

The seahawks had drafted so poorly anyway that them trading picks for a proven commodity was good for them. They still come out ahead not being tied to this nutbag.

Probably haven’t recovered after Kelce trucked him.

Then perhaps they shouldn’t have extended a GM that’s drafting poorly.

Think we may have dodged a bullet with that one. If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a player about to go off the mother ****ing deep end

His broken leg was so fortunate for Kansas City
