My rankings:
Pleasant Ridge - It's a nice house, very livable, and the location is excellent. It's near a really big cool park with cool stuff in it, and you can walk to a bunch of restaurants. The neighborhood looks nice, too. This is an easy winner for me.
Ann Arbor - It's a nice house, and I'm particularly liking that deck. If you want to be outside but you also require extensive shade, it's a rare deck that will work for you. You can kind of walk to the downtown, which is nice, and while the park situation isn't great, there's a big park that's not godawfully far. I could live here.
Niles - I was initially lukewarm about this house, but the more I look, I like it. I can walk to restaurants, and there's a small park that's not too far away. It's not too inconvenient to get to South Bend or Chicago. I could live here.
North Muskegon - I passed through there a couple of years ago and had a pleasant time, but this place doesn't wow me. Interesting location for sure, but there's nothing really notable about the house and it's not near a lot of services. I'll pass.
Indian River - Nice house, but as I've seen in other homes, you can use too much wood trim. The lake view is nice, but there are no services in the neighborhood. This won't work for me.
