Congratulations to the Cubbies

108 years....man, that's some time in the desert.

I have a couple friends who are life long, legit, die hard Cub fans. I'm very happy for them. And if I have to pass my baseball crown to somebody else, nobody has been more deserving or patient than Cub fans.

So congratulations to the Cub Fans. For the first time in your life, you get to enjoy the satisfaction of being emotionally tied to a World Champion team. No better feeling in the world.

The parade is going to be insane!

Were I a big baseball fan, the Cubs would be my team... super happy for them and their fans

Its amazing to me to think that multiple generations have been born and died since the last time they won, Civil War veterans were still alive the last time they won it all... its crazy

Congrats, Cubs fans

Reverend! SO many happy friends here. Glad they could shake it, and we thought we had it bad.

What a night. Incredible!

True champions. I can respect a rival team that earned it (and not given due to marketing purposes). Great foundation for years to come...scary.

Stayed up til 4:30 watching everything, rewound the final out probably 100 times watching all the reactions on the field, and woke up 4 hours later to start it all over again.

What a series, and what a game 7. Very happy for the Cubs and my friends that are Cubs fans.

the expression on Kris Bryant's face as he fielded the last out was incredible.

No shit, that was a great moment and loved that it was caught on camera.

What a game! What a series! Even if the Cubs had lost it was great to watch. The outcome though was excellent.

I'm not a Cubs fan, but I have many deceased relatives that went their entire lives without a WS trophy.

Last night was an emotional one for me.

I went to bed in the 8th inning, taped it and missed everything because of the rain delay. Sounds like an exciting finish.

I was pulling for the cubs since they reminded me of the Royals. Kris Bryant = Eric Hosmer. And they had OUR MVP on their team - zobrist.

Congrats cubs.

Should also say congrats to the Indians, been a long time for them as well. Kind of would have been neat to say the WS was won out of the AL Central for two years in a row but glad for the Cubs and all my cubbies friends.

I surely hope it won't be 108 years for the Chiefs to win another Super Bowl! That would make me 115 years old and probably a little senile......
