It looks like there's a very good chance we're stuck in the rift of the first Rd when all the premier talent is gone.

IMO the draft could go a lot like this:

IMO Lynch goes way higher and Kelly/Billings is off the board, but in this situation it looks like trading down is the best option.
Of the prospects left on the board (again I think Kelly/Billings are gone), the best prospect available appears to be Josh Garnett. I think if we stayed at 28 he's the guy (Vonn Bell is appealing here as well).

In this situation, do you trade down to the mid 30's if you can get a 4th Rd pick?

Yes. San Fran has way too many picks and would be great trade partners.

Rather just take Karl Joseph.

If I stayed there, I think I'd take Vonn Bell. I think he's better than Karl Joseph.

Laquan Treadwell is getting a lot of buzz though. Peter King and Chris Collinsworth mocked him to us saying they are hearing we could take a WR.
Matt Miller just said the same thing in his mock this morning.

Wonder if we're pumping some wr rumors out there to try and get someone to take them earlier or trade in front of us so someone drops.

I'd really like treadwell, I think he'd fit well with our offense.

With Poe and his contract situation, wonder if billings is in play?

I don't like Treadwell and would be disappointed if he was the pick, especially if we are passing up Michael Thomas. Just don't think that he'd provide the value we need, and Conley has a high ceiling as our #2 WR IMO.

feel the same way about Reggie Ragland.

If we go DL, I think we'd go with somebody who can offer more as a pass rusher like Butler, Jones, or Nkemdiche.

Remember, Howard can play NT too.

Howard can fill in there, but he's no Poe.

See, I kinda like treadwell. But after the bowe experiment I'm hesitant although treadwell is probably quucker.

I don't think anybody has a clue what we're going to do. Dorsey keeps things close to the chest. Hence a lack of names, just positions.
