Interesting things to think about....

Chargers have 2 games left against under .500 teams
Broncos have 3 games left against under .500 teams (+1 against Buffalo)
Chiefs have 4 games games left against under .500 teams (+1 against Buffalo)

Crazy thing is, the Titans are the only team the Chiefs have played so far that is under .500. If Denver wins today (and they probably will), that means the Chiefs have played 4 out of 6 games against teams that are 5-2. That's nuts to think the Chiefs are 3-3 right now, especially given the string of bad luck they've had.

PLAY GOOD FOOTBALL

Win those games against the shit teams, that's 7 wins. Beat buffalo. That's 8.

WC spot isn't that far-fetched anymore.

Of our ten remaining games, we have five extremely winnable ones. If we win all of them, that gives us eight wins.

At that point, we need at least one win against the tougher names on our list and we're in.

We still have San Diego again and Pittsburgh (that are .500 or above). Two very winnable games.

But for sure, in this tough NFL in this tough division, the Chiefs are going to have be perfect the rest of the way to even sniff a playoff spot.

9-7 is hardly a guarantee. They need to get to 10-6.

It never was in my mind. This is a team that will be a bit below or a bit above .500 come December. I'm guessing a hair above. The people shouting 2-14 and the #1 pick in the draft are just your regular debbie downers.

In the last three years, 9-7 gets you in 2/3s of the time.
