Let's try to keep the shit talk in here rather than the repository threads.

The Big 12 made a good trade getting rid of Mizzou & Texas A&M for TCU & West Virginia.

Yeah, I really worry about the impact the hand-check rule will have on the game in the short term.

In the long term, however, it might help. Teams will adjust (they always adjust) and officials will back off a little as well. But it's probably going to take a couple of seasons of ghastly gameplay to get there.

And when it does, I still worry that the game's just going to be about 3-point shooting still. They've gotta move that damn line back to at least the friggen WNBA distance.

They might as well get rid of charging. I just watched the most blatant, textbook charge called a block. The game will become nothing but guards dropping their shoulders, crashing into the lane, and getting bailed out by blocking calls.

The announcers aren't even talking about the game. They are talking about the fouls/rules.

It's ruined college hoops for me. Officiating has been terrible the last several years, you can't play D without them blowing that ****ing whistle.
