Are you jacked up about the MLB All Star Game?

3 weeks away! Anyone going?? Are you excited about it?

KC's first All Star Game in nearly 40 years!

I'm guessing no Royals will start?

Butler could start at DH but we'll see.

I'm looking forward to it but I wouldn't say "jacked up" and no I'm not going.

I am excited and looking forward to it but I am definitely not "jacked up." It will be cool because it's in KC but beyond that it's just the another all-star game which isn't always the best game to watch.

No.

The MLB is the ONLY all-star game worth watching. I love the fact that the out come has an impact on the playoffs.

Heck yeah, I'm excited! I'll be even more pumped up if:

1. Either Moose or Butler participates in the Home Run Derby
2. The Royals are less than 5 games out of first and playing well leading into the game.

3 weeks out and I'm not hearing much buzz around the city about it. Outside of fan fest, I haven't heard much of anything that's going on during that weekend.

I think there's gonna be a parade on the Plaza. I hope nobody shows up. That would be funny.

If any of you get a chance to go to the Home Run Derby - do it. It is wildly entertaining in person. While it was nice to be able to go to the game, it just seemed like another game to me.

HRD is a blast, no pun intended. Go if you can.

no

If I could afford to go to either the home run derby or the game I would in a heart beat. It's something I've always wanted to experience, and with it being played in beautiful Kaufman this year would make it that much more sweet. But tickets are out rageous. Major league sports are becoming less for the common fan, and more for the affluent. It's sad really.

ChiTown 06-18-2012 09:23 AM

Anyone have any tickets there are looking to sell?

This. And who knows when it will ever be back in KC...

A game played at Kauffman Stadium to determine the laeague that gets home field advantage in the World Series.

Oh the irony.
