i don't know that it comes down to anything.

there is only wiggle room of about .4 million, so it shouldn't be that difficult

4 years, 11.3 - 11.7 million

So 4 years, 11.5ish million

Biggest thing in these contracts is the language and guarenteed money.

Signing Poe gets easier for Chiefs

There isn’t much keeping Dontari Poe from signing with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The defensive tackle was the No. 11 overall draft pick in April. Monday, Philadelphia signed defensive tackle Fletcher Cox. He was the No. 12 pick. Previously, Buffalo signed cornerback Stephon Gilmore, the No. 10 pick.

Thus, the two players sandwiched between Poe are signed and Poe's contract can be slotted btween the two finished deals. Rookie contracts are much easier to finalize as part of the new CBA. So with the contracts done between him, I can see Poe signing sometime soon.

Poe is the Chiefs’ lone remaining unsigned draft pick. San Diego has signed its entire class. Denver and Oakland each have two unsigned rookies.

Cox just sign his contract so soon Poe should be coming up at say at least by thr end of june

Poe signed weeks ago but since he was such a shitty pick. The PR wagon has been in full baby kissing - practicing without a contract mode/TK

They've been keeping a lid on why this deal isn't done. It makes no sense that he hasn't signed.

Why? Cox was drafted right after him and just signed.

Training camp doesnt begin for another month.

I think he is already signed.

They are probably waiting for the "right time" to announce his signing.

It sucks that there won't be any rookie holdouts anymore. Kinda added a little bit of suspense to the offseason.
