Yeah, Yeah we lost, but the team has improved A LOT from the last few years. We are still the top dog in the AFC West and I think we're going to win it. I like Haley's style (most of the time) and it makes for watching some exciting football. The only reason the game today had any sting, is we were in it all the way and had a good shot at winning it. If we would have played this team last year, they would have blown us out by 30 points.

Next week we get back to our winning ways at Arrowhead, bank on it.

On a side note, I hit the weights and heavy bag after the game and I feel like a new man. :D

I think most of us had them losing this game at the beginning of the season.

Yep. That is all that makes it hard for me. I expected to lose, but knowing we could have won it does hurt.

Update: Thanks to Oak, Den and SD being so kind, we are still in REALLY great shape. I tip my hat to those three teams!

No shit. I'm not saying that the Chiefs are going to the Superbowl... but holy cow. What an improvement over the Herm disaster. This franchise's stock is rising.

Gosh, I hate to be drinking the homer KoolAid, but looking at our remaining schedule 11-5 is a real possibility and 10-6 if we hit a bump. What's even better is I'm not so sure 8 wins doesn't win this hell hole of a division.

I felt much better watching everyone else in the AFC West lose to lesser teams.

Raiders lost to Niners: check.

Chargers lost to Rams: check.

Broncos lost to Jets: um... I hate to say it, since I'm a Patriots fan and hate them, but the Jets aren't a lesser team. Annoying little ****ers just refuse to lose.

This Chiefs team is for real.

But, the really good news is that we are only going to get better. We're extremely young at key positions.

This was a heartbreaking loss (thanks refs), but I can't remember being this encouraged after a defeat ... not for a long, long time.

Keep working on the defense, Romeo. And Weis, you run Casspipe's ass out of town and we'll be competitive for years.
