I've heard people say he is. I think, very much so, the opposite. I also believe he's been told by the powers at ESPN that in compromise for his wardrobe he has to dumb down things and state the obvious in many situations for the sake of their, apparently, reeruned viewership.

Knight lately strikes me as somebody slipping into dementia.

They lost any credibility the moment they referred to the Big XII as "the nation's top conference".

Has KK said who he would rather have, and not just a cop-out "anyone would be better"? Knight has some Madden moments, but he tells it like it is and he knows what he's talking about.... and since I only watch ESPN for the live sports, I'd rather him be at the games than on SportsCenter or Gameday.

The comment about the return game in Austin seemed to start it. The general tone was that KSU was getting a little big for their britches, and the crowd should tone down their celebration. (And of course, there is no return game in Austin this season)

That really seemed to get under KK's skin. The guy makes no bones about the fact that he hates Texas.
