Carroll's Comments on Sanchez
I know this has been posted in other threads but I thought it deserved a little personal attention since there seem to be a lot of USC fans on here.
Is it just me or did Pete Carroll come off like a total asshole in his comments about Sanchez leaving? I can't find the full quote yet but he made it clear that he thought it was a terrible decision and Sanchez is not ready. I am usually a fan of Carroll and as someone who lives in L.A. (although not a USC fan) I think he is a great ambassador for college football who carries himself with a lot of class. What's with his complete lack of support?? Any USC fans wanna enlighten me? |
And yes I know he's dissappointed to lose him. I just thought Carroll was above being that petty.

sounds like he's a little worried with no one to replace him, but i'm not too sure ask mecca

USC is losing a big chunk of their defense. I think Carroll was counting on his offense carrying the team for a while until the D got their feet under them. Now he has to break in a new QB (and new offensive coordinator) along with the new defenders.

All of this is kind of my point. There are always going to be QB options at USC. That makes me think Carroll's comments were legit in that he thought Sanchez wasn't ready. Still, whats done is done. Why throw some discouraging comments at him on his way out the door??

Of course Sanchez isn't ready for the NFL. No one is when they've only had one year of college playing exp.
It's ****ing laughable that people want to draft him with our top 3 pick LMAO |
