Anyone see the Charles Gordon injury today?

During the Vikes game. Nasty. Not the worst I've seen but Fox would not replay it once they figured out what was wrong.

If his knee ligaments had nine lives, they just spent 'em all.

ohiobronco2 11-09-2008 08:20 PM

Was disgusting. I cringed while watching it live.

Buehler445 11-09-2008 08:20 PM

Wow. That is some pain.

TrickyNicky 11-09-2008 08:21 PM

Hope its still structurally together. It's a good thing it didn't go 180, and then had someone compound his shin. That would probably = amputation.

Owwwwwww!!!!

Bugeater 11-09-2008 08:25 PM

Gah! Thanks for posting that, I had the game on but didn't catch it when it happened.

I missed it, but once Fox said that they wouldn't replay it, I had no desire to see it.

I'm not going to watch it...but how does it compare to McGahee's (sp?) knee exploding agains OSU in the title game years ago?

The tip of his toe gets caught in the ground as he is being tackled and with his weight and the weight of the tackler on top of him it is twisted pretty close to 180 degrees from a normal forward pointing foot....and then it was pretty much dangling and remained at an odd angle.

Ebolapox 11-09-2008 08:34 PM

god, brah. that was horrid.
