I got to see him firsthand at the UNI playoff game. That guy, along with one of their linebackers, won the game for them. He was unreal.

He's projected to perhaps go in the second round. Warpaint talked to him today and there's an article going up tonight. Nick thinks the Chiefs might be interested (he also talked to Chuck Cook about Flacco).

Unfortunately, that kid has the lowest release point of any QB I have ever seen. He'd never get a pass over an NFL defensive line.

He's 6-foot-6. It helps.

Looks good. Id have no problem with the Chiefs drafting him.

He certainly passes the Goturd eye test for an NFL QB.

This film makes him look very impressive.
fwiw, he looks much more physical than Brodie Croyle.

I'm not really picky about quarterbacks where the eye test is concerned. Good quarterbacks are good quarterbacks because of what's between the ears. I think Flacco shows that as much as anyone in that video. You can hear the announcers talking about how well he sees the field and finds open receivers.

Looks great against high schoolers.

I am somewhat. You have to be a pretty decent sized guy to stand back there and take the pounding these guys take from 300 pounders every week.

If he goes through evaluations and the combine and turns out to be anywhere near as impressive as that highlight video he looks like a definite first round pick. Perhaps even HIGH first round pick.

We should draft him, he's got the whole goofy italian name thing going, kinda like Tony Romo. Maybe he'll be our version!

Flacco's not bad, particularly since the middle QB prospects are weak. Definitely not capable of coming in and playing early though.

How much does that say though, Croyle is pretty small and scrawny for an NFL QB.
